View as Webpage Join us to Shed Old Skins in the Underworld on Winter Solstice..the Darkest Day of the Year Dear Solstice Celebrants..   It is such a gift to be able to celebrate together as Sanctuary community in the darkest time of the year, a tradition stretching over many centuries. You have been the avid supporters of these sacred theater, ceremonial offerings in the past, so we wanted to make a personal invitation to you to join us this year at our Solstice Event:        ”Serpent Solstice: She Sheds Her Skin and Rises in Radiance”  We are having live snake dancers, sumptuous appetizers and libations, a ceremonial offering to participate in, dancing after the event. There will only be maximum of fifty people, which has filled quickly in the past, so we wanted to invite you FIRST. Due to all the expenses involved even in getting a space to offer this event, we are asking for a minimal heart offering of $33. to cover some of those expenses. We are so excited to share this powerful experience with you! December 17th Offered as a gift by Heart Donation   Gates Open at 6:00pm Ceremony begins at 7:00 sharp   WHERE: Unitarian Universalist Church, San Rafael, CA This is an in-person event that will be live streamed for our global community.   WHAT: We will provide …a Sacred Theater Mythic Enactment for you to be a part of. …Sacrament and libations… …Appetizers for sharing and connecting after the offering   WHY: A gift for our being able to gather… from the Sanctuary by Heart Donations   WHAT TO BRING: The “old skin” of an outgrown pattern etc. that you are willing to consciously shed in the Underworld in this enactment. If in your joy, please bring a homemade sweet treat to share with the community after the enactment. There will be a sacred commerce table with gifts to buy for Solstice.   PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME!
