I highly recommend that you join us for this lively conversation. Leslie has written a potent essay that travels the distance of why learning and knowing the body as a vessel is the key to dismantling the oppression of our times.
In her own words, ” A very old story of human control is dying and we stand at the threshold of unraveling and creation, doulas of death and birth, holding our unique threads of the sacred web while the pain of racism, inequality, ecological crisis, oppression, and injustice all reaching breaking points on Earth.
An emergent story of belonging is not only necessary but urgent. Yet how to arrive there?
There is a way of seeing that reveals the pattern of the deepest root of these wounds and in doing so there is guidance of how to merge with the story of belonging.

We will discuss why there is a danger in assuming that the dominant stories being told today are masculine and
why Leslie consciously chose to omit the words divine or sacred before the words feminine and masculine in her essay.
