Love Letter from the Edge..

|
Here in California we wake today to an orange sky, predawn dusk, long after the sun has risen. It’s eerie and strange and beautiful. I’ve never spent a day outside in seemingly perpetual dusky darkness. My beloveds go to school and work, on their computers inside our home, and I take a candle and my doggo, and come here to my porch, to write by sulfuric light. Today feels weird. Everything slightly askew, like someone came into your house in the night and did some rearranging. It’s still your stuff, your life, but now everyone is wearing a mask, standing 6 feet apart and there is no sun in the dark orange sky. A bit upside down…..stranger things will happen.
AND there is a gift in a day like this. The Goddess of Love archetype shares with us the gifts of Beauty and Intimacy through Presence. A day like today (where the usual pattern of our lives on autopilot has been interrupted) can tilt the snow globe world that is our mind enough to wake us up to this moment and be present. In the now moment there is such beauty, such intimacy.
So in the moment, I pick up my pencil and put it to paper to write, as I have forgotten “that I don’t like to write” and sit here happily scribbling away to you, my love. As far as I can tell, in any given moment we are making a choice between fear and love. We can choose to worry about the collapse of the ~old~ world. We can choose to worry about covid and smoke filled skies or we can choose to be in this moment, and this moment and this moment. In this moment my air is breathable, the smoke is high above. In this moment I am healthy. In this moment my garden is beautiful in the crazy, hazy, pumpkin cream light.
I’m aware that in a moment of grief and despair, the feeling of loss can be so overwhelming….it can take our breath away.
Can our courageous hearts make the choice to stay intimately with ourselves through that moment while they break with grief and race from fear?
To consciously choose is to be Sovereign.

The crows in our pepper tree agree, they say “WAKE! WAKE! WAKE!” These clever creatures seem to know that when we stop focusing on what we cannot control, we are left sitting in our own energy looking around at the life, the world we have created. The Goddess of Love requests that we take a BEAUTY INVENTORY please, and thank you. Rather than taking stock of all the things we perceive as ugly and wrong, let’s get present and intimate with what is beautiful in ourselves, our lives and those in our worlds in this moment. Because THIS is the portal of creation.
As for what is truly wrong in the world, our clear and centered heart presence is what is needed and being called forth.

As the world spins further and further into the collective Initiation of entering the Unknown, we have an even greater responsibility to honor the power we each carry to etherically hold space for the re-balancing that is happening in that process. That is, we will focus alchemically, etherically together on sending support to our Mother Gaia in the process She is engaged with in re-balancing at this POWERFUL ACUPUNCTURE POINT AT THE time of Fall Equinox on the planet. As we focus our attention on that planetary support, because we are One with Gaia, support will naturally be offered to our personal processes of re-balancing. Due to current circumstances, it will be necessary to meet on Zoom for this ceremony of re-balancing.

Throughout all times, Priest/ess’ have been sensitive receptors for the Greater Divine Dream, dreaming itself through us. They have functioned as oracles seeing into the non-linear matrix of time and space, as sensitive instruments aware of a broader spectrum of quantum possibilities manifesting. They have been messengers for the archetypal realms who interface and seed divine, creative possibilities through the non-linear nature of dreams. For the collective community, oftentimes they were harbingers of events providing an immediate opportunity to act on the messages delivered from higher realms. It is for all these reasons, that we gather as a Dream Weaver Circle. If, as an aspect of your Priest/esshood, you perceive of yourself as a conscious Dreamer in these reflections, then join us in service, by submitting dreams that have this mythic, collective, archetypal and transpersonal quality.
This Dream Weaver’s circle focuses on dreams that are archetypal and mytho-poetic in nature. It is the intention of this offering to look for the larger patterns in the collective Dreamfield that are emerging through the lens of the conscious dreaming of the priest/esses in the circle. As well, themes can be suggested for our conscious dreaming of reality, that can and do affect the collective Dreamfield matrix.
It is not the intention of this circle to analyze or necessarily even to respond to the dreams, as each recipient will garner his/her own wisdom, inspiration and gifts from sharing a given dream. However, if you choose to respond by lucidly entering the Dreamtime to share and commune telepathically, that is certainly being encouraged!
