Sovereignty: WHAT IS IT TO BE A SOVEREIGN BEING?
The word “virgin” originally meant “whole and complete unto herself”.. It was not about whom one chose or not as a consort. This is much more the meaning of sovereignty. “Where are you in the journey of sovereignty? Do you see yourself as a sovereign being?
Sovereignty is a feeling of inner completion, of not needing anything outside the self to feel complete or whole. A sovereign being is inner-directed, having a strong center of inner knowing from which to dance in relationship. In simplicity, Sovereignty is freedom of choice! It is about the balancing of male and female aspects within you, such that you are complete unto your Self and thus free to make choices from a balanced place. During this moon especially, notice where your male and female aspects could be brought into more balanced expression. This is a lifetime process of balancing the male and female aspects of self. And at some point when you feel there is equilibrium within, as Argon suggested, consider doing The Rite of Heiros Gamos (the inner marriage) to honor the male and female that lives within you, to truly marry the Self, to honor coming to a place of authentic sovereignty. The rite of Heiros Gamos works toward the speaking of the first vow in this process from The Alchemy of Ecstasy which is:. “As a sovereign being, I choose to act from the truth that emerges in every moment.” When you feel ready, you can do the final vow of Heiros Gamos, which is in the Alchemy of Ecstasy or the booklet i just mentioned!

Or how will became distorted into believing there would never be enough love and so contracted and terrified, it became separate and felt justified in manipulating because it was sure from this contracted place that there would never be enough love and so grasped with rapacious talons, human sensory experience that nourished nothing that was actually real…and through attraction of opposites, called dragon talons to slash through the fabric of the ego’s reality like a flimsy canvas painting.. as if it were Nothing.. scorching through on fiery breath, so as to enter human consciousness with the intention of inspiring the quest, the one Quest in you that requires absolutely everything..everything from you that is your magnificence. On this quest there are no flimsy substitutes of emotional manipulation as a strategy to try to reach the divine.. no trips to India, no casual dives into meditation..Even finally weaning yourself from the addictive neuro-chemicals of strong emotions to trust that there is actually something more exhilarating.. Though, no sweat, eventually if you go in one direction far enough, it leads you to witness the alchemical union that merges the nine black queens and the 9 white kings, inspiring you to undertake that quest, as if it were Nothing…blessed in freedom from the pulls of attraction and aversion and thus attachment, leading to sovereignty’s key.. non-resistance…The ego feels like it has to try to make itself sovereign by resisting, controlling, by defining itself with what it thinks it is not.. That is the height of incarceration rather than autonomy. To be divinely sovereign means nothing pulls at us to deflate and contract us into cartoon versions of ourselves. We are independent to the degree that nobody’s drama, including our own, can anymore tempt and sucker us with prize money for the mental cycling maze.. Without resistance, the low amplitude vibrations of the world’s wounded emotional body moves right through us without getting stuck in its perception of hurt and pain, that is caused from the resistance of saying “No. No. No.” You see, the counter insurgency of resistance is bound to lose to sovereignty in the end… It just takes more life times than you would like to think about. Now isn’t that a blessing? Taking everything impartially, just as it is served up by Divine Surrender, you finally recognize that that apparent paradox of sovereignty wedded to surrender, bares the only real blossoms of divine fruit, that then, due to ecstatic resonance in Source, naturally directs the will in gentle fearlessness…
