Transmission: Entering the Unknown, Summoning the Door

Entering the Unknown, Summoning the Door
“Llamare o Tocar a la Puerta”

Through Ariel Spilsbury

“To play upon the instrument of the name in order to open the door.
The use of words that summon the opening of a passageway.”*

Now you stand naked and serene
as a colossal redwood
asking nothing
from your magnificent immensity and light
so fulfilling is the ecstasy of reunion

So stripped are you now of the fears and illusions
your mind believed to be so concrete and real.

So purified are you of the hollow struggle
that seemed to give your ego purpose and identity

So emptied are you, of the chatter and demands
with which the ego secured your bondage

So surrendered are the familiar
reference points that imprisoned you
in a limited version of reality

That you, in desperation, called out the name
which would naturally summon
a new passageway

That became the platform,
the one apparent structure which was
suspended over the unfathomable abyss of the Unknown

And stepping on to the platform
you found that it too had become uncertainly fluid
Even as you looked for something around which
to establish stability or meaning
your soul remembered:
“Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists.” *

So you breathed into the new experience
of fluidity in formlessness
and surrendered even more profoundly to the Void

And you remembered that before final reunion
with the Divine Beloved
you would walk naked into an unknown landscape
where you would stand stripped of identity
save the presence of the one changeless Self
dancing on the edge of the Abyss
in the present moment
with no tethers restraining you from flight or falling

Before you leaped,
you sensed that
only leaping consciously into the Void of the Unknown
would lead to the true recognition of your vastness

You felt that
only leaping consciously into the void of the Unknown
would honor the depth of the surrender
that had been required to create a new reality

You knew that
only leaping consciously into the Void of the Unknown
would generate the joy and magnetize the ease
for the Miracle to occur in this place, here and now.

You intuited that
only leaping consciously into the Void of the Unknown
would offer you the final initiation you sought
as a co-creator with the Divine

And so in your choosing union,
you leapt into the Void and found yourself here

And now you stand naked, empty,
and serene as a colossal redwood
asking nothing from your magnificent immensity of light
so fulfilling is the ecstasy of reunion.
